Join Five Spice at XVA for Routes & Roots, an immersive eight-course Chinese dinner exploring the cultural fluidity and hybridity of food.

As the second act of Charlie Koolhaas’ Synchronicity exhibition opening, the evening brings together art, food and conversation in the atmospheric setting of the XVA courtyard.

Through shared plates and authentic Chinese flavours, we travel back in time to explore how regional ingredients took root and helped shape the Chinese home table, tracing the movement of ingredients, traditions and influences across cultures.

Event timings

• 3–6 pm: Charlie Koolhaas’ Synchronicity exhibition opening

• 6 pm: Supper club doors open

• 6:30 pm: Dinner served

We encourage dinner guests to arrive early and experience the exhibition opening before the supper club begins.
